About

Jacqueline Feke is an award-winning author, scholar, and professor.

​

Born and raised in the suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts, she received a bachelors degree, with honors, from Brown University, and went on to receive a Ph.D. in the history and philosophy of science and technology from the University of Toronto.

 

After graduating, she held postdoctoral fellowships at Stanford University, the University of Chicago, and the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science in Berlin, Germany. Feke held a visiting professorship at l’École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris, France.

 

Today, she is an associate professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Waterloo, as well as a senior fellow at Massey College in the University of Toronto.
